Conditions:
- Rotator cuff dysfunction (Impingement, painful arc, rotator cuff tendinosis, subacromial bursitis): Irritation to the muscles of the rotator cuff muscles, tendons or bursae.
- Frozen shoulder syndrome: also called adhesive capsulitis, involves stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint. Signs and symptoms typically begin slowly, then get worse. Can be problematic for 1 – 3 years.
- Medial / Lateral epicondylitis: Medial epicondylitis is also known as golfer’s elbow, baseball elbow, suitcase elbow, or forehand tennis elbow. It’s characterized by pain from the elbow to the wrist on the inside (medial side) of the elbow. The pain is caused by damage to the tendons that bend the wrist toward the palm. Lateral epicondylitis, commonly known as tennis elbow, is swelling of the tendons that bend your wrist backward away from your palm. Pain is perceived on the outside of your elbow.
